Hi Rashmi,
Why dont you do a version 3 with even lesser privileged entrepreneurs / innovators of the honey bee network....
Your writing style is simple & straight, and i guess we must thank the ekalavya foundation for keeping the book prices low enough....
Keep the great work going... looking forward to staying hungry (part III)
Thanks

Hi Rashmi,
Just finished reading your latest book and liked it. Congrats on bringing out another master piece which is definately going to inspire thousands to come out of their comfort zone and reassess what they have been doing with their life.
Having seen both the sides, i.e MBAs and Non MBAs entrepreneurs, what's your take on the relevance of MBA education for budding and future entrepreneurs?
Is it required Or not, because on one hand SHSF proves that if ones entrepreneurial traits are backed by solid education, it makes a deadly combination, while CTD proves that to be successful in business, u just need, Junoon, Jugaad & Jubaan!! Degrees & Diploma's doesn't matter.
So the big question, To be MBA or Not?

Sriram - that's a great idea. I have been toying with it because I find Honeybee network and Prof Gupta's work fascinating. Let's see.
I already have a book 3 in the oven and book 4 at the dough-making stage, maybe after that :)

Ashish - thank u for the compliments. The way I see it, depends how ready you feel. If you are a BSc and fresh out of college, but believe I can run my own business then you are ready to go. Some ppl are not ready and the exposure they get in MBA helps them. There is no formula. But yes, I do wish people get out of the MBA syndrome ki MBA karna zaroori hai. I got in at first attempt, if I had not I am sure I would have done something else and been equally 'successful'. It was never 'do or die' as it seems to be today

Hi Rashmi, Reading Connect the Dots was truly inspiring. With the power & authenticity in your narration, you definitely take us on a wonderful journey. Are there plans to write about "Social Entrepreneurship in India" - I could only material scattered around the web.....Thanks again for being part of the grander plan, to see how DOTS start connecting for everyone

Hi Rashmi,
Are you planning to add any podcasts or videos of interviews on this site?Posted 2 years ago # -
Hi,
I went through your book. It is a great read. Thank you for sharing the lives of some ordinary people with a vision and undying spirit. It is the same spirit I believe that drives you.
I was just curious, after I read the entire book cover to cover, there is one layman assessment I can put forward, "You need to be in touch with some IIT/IIM Grad. to be successful, if you've not studied in it."
I believe there are more Entrpreneurs who have taken strides just because adversity hit them, or drive failed to leave, and have no IIT/IIM influencing them (we need the society to believe that IIM/IIT are good, but not mandatory for success, that is what urges me to make that point.). If you do a great work, expectations rise by default. As a very impressed and inspired reader, I would like to request you to please look into this different perspective of your content decision for furthur writes.
I am more than eager to have a hand on your next publish. But as you know now, I attach more hopes from the next one I read of you.
Admiring always,
Sujeet

Rahul - yes, I have created a Youtube channel called AuthorRashmiBansal and will be posting some clips from book events, later on clips from some of my interviews as well.
Sujeet - thank you for the compliments. 'Connect the Dots' does not have any IIM grads, and just a handful of IIT grads (one MTech - Suresh Kamath and one BTech Raghu Khanna whose story I included because I want IIT grads to rethink need to go to any IIM :) The other IITians are Gaurav and Saurabh of Political Edge and they did something so unique and different I think it would be grossly unfair to disqualify them because they happen to be from IIT.
But I take your point! I hope a day comes when people realise these are just external tags, what matters is the spark and the confidence within.
